I have a friend who has been wanting me to make her some of these, but I haven’t had a chance to search for a pattern and then, here they are – and they don’t look overly complicated which is a plus right now.
Hooked Goodies says
Wow…we are glad we could help. Yes they are quite simple. more like a basic cap with a larger base. Make some for your friend and yourself too. Happy Crocheting.

Linda says
are these safe to use in the microwave? should you use a specific yarn?
Hooked Goodies says
Hey Linda, basically they help you to hold the bowls while they are still hot and carry them to the dining space after taking them out from the microwave. However some of the designers have mentioned that their creations are microwave safe if you use them for less than 2 minutes inside the microwave. Yes, Yarn to be used for these will be Cotton Only. Anything that is supposed to handle or touch hot surfaces should be made from cotton for example Hotpads.
